Solve cleaner
Sudoku Tips
Getting faster at Sudoku is mostly about reducing uncertainty. The cleaner your logic, the fewer mistakes, hints, and restarts show up on your result.
First principle
Do not guess just because the timer is running. A wrong guess costs time and often makes the next few moves less reliable.
Practical Sudoku tips
Scan one number at a time
Pick a number, then check where it already appears. This often reveals boxes where the number has only one possible cell.
Use notes with restraint
Notes are strongest when they clarify a small area. If every empty square has five notes, the board becomes noisy and slower to read.
Protect the clean run
A clean run means no hints, no mistakes, no pauses, and no restarts. Sometimes the best leaderboard result is not the fastest raw timer, but the cleanest solve.
Review stuck areas from another direction
If a row is stuck, look at the columns and boxes crossing it. Sudoku progress often appears when you switch perspective.
