Hard Sudoku is where Daily Sudoku Race starts to feel properly competitive. You will need cleaner scanning, stronger notes, and patience when the board stops giving away easy singles.
Race mindset
Fast is good, but a hard puzzle punishes guessing. One wrong square adds time and can break your clean-run confidence.
How to solve hard Sudoku more calmly
Hard puzzles reward restraint. Mark candidates, compare rows and columns, and look for boxes where a number can only sit in one row or one column. If the board feels frozen, revisit your notes before taking a hint.
The leaderboard badge system keeps the run honest: hints, pauses, mistakes, and restarts all stay visible next to the time.
